Simple aluminium

The Subtle Fold necklace is shaped as an organic metal surface with gentle, hand-formed folds created through the manual processing of aluminum. The softly undulating surface features visible transitions that alter light reflection and highlight the material’s texture.

The pendant form remains clean and restrained, while the surface irregularities introduce movement and depth. Surgical steel and aluminum are combined into a clear, minimalist composition.

The design is driven by the relationship between material, light, and structure. Its visual character comes from the hand-crafted folds and natural rhythm of the surface rather than symmetry or ornamentation.
