About Petras

Petras atelier has been a creative oasis since 2012, where every piece of jewelry is designed and carefully handcrafted.

“Jewelry has been my passion since childhood. At some point it became a hobby, and eventually I realized that it has always been my calling. I started making jewelry from the scraps of glass that my mother, an independent artist and sculptor, used to make bowls, plates and other items of use. I designed earrings, pendants and other components. After that I was drawn to other materials, semi-precious stones, pearls, silver and metals. I always used my second biggest hobby, travel, for inspiration, but also to improve and explore my skills “.

Most collections are made of a combination of different metals (brass, aluminum, silver, steel), glass and semi-precious stones.

“The process of creation is not at all romantic (it is dusty, requires caution when cutting, drilling, shaping, spraying and polishing), but it is soothing and meditative. Creating a new, different piece that someone will choose to wear as part of their expression and statement fills me with happiness, pride and satisfaction.”
